Not much are known about the organization afaik / remember. He is a part of the Syndicate. CSM’s part in the Syndicate was to make sure the dirty work were done, murdering coverups etc. Now as for where he stands… I always felt he was somewhat protective of the two and wanted to keep them somewhat away from the truth. I really shouldn’t say anything else in case people here havent watched the series and give away mega spoilers. :p
