Please, no answers on the dangers of cigarettes. Try not to bore me today.
if you have a large amount of it i would freeze it. smaller amounts i would do like the pot smokers and use a bit of orange or apple peel. not only will it stay fresh and moist it will take on the flavor of the fruit.
Put in freezer.

Glass jar with a rubber seal. Can be left in the freezer. Or if going freezer route a zip lock bag will do. Ask at the shoppe you bought the tobacco at. They probably have a clue as to what you need for the type of product you bought. Freezer might be to much also. If you don’t keep it to long maybe just the glass jar with the orange peel left on the counter. Telling people not to lecture you just baits and reels them in! ha ha
