Alright.
Now here, I am not looking for the, "OH, YOU SHOULD JUST QUIT NOW" sort of stuff.

I enjoy smoking my cigarettes.

Is it dangerous to smoke prior to an adult Tonsillectomy?
What are the chances of having clotting issues?

If it is extremely dangerous, how many days or weeks in advance should I take a break from smoking?

I would recommend giving up cigarettes for 10 days before the surgery. Having tonsils out at as an adult is very much more of a blow to the system than if you were seven years old. There are ways to give up, such as the nicotine patches. My father gave up after having a wad of cigarette paper
lit in front of him, having the flame beaten out and smelling the smoking paper. Disgusting.

He still died of lung cancer eleven years later aged 67.
Having a couple of drinks a day is healthy. Having a few cigarettes a day is not. Most people smoke at least twenty to thirty.

I’m trying to get underneath the cigarette lighter socket in my 2005 Corsa SXi to see if its connected properly or replace it if nessecary, but not sure how to get under there? Anyone know how to? Thanks?

If the socket is loose, there is a metal ring that screws onto the lighter housing and tightens a bracket, clamping the lighter in place. If it’s not a loose lighter and you wish to check the electrical wiring, all you really need to do is use a test light to check the center contact inside the area you plug the lighter into. Many after market items such as cell phone chargers don’t always fit perfectly in the lighter socket and cause a brief short circuit and blow the fuse.

What causes the clock and cigarette lighter not to work on a 1998 Toyota Camry when the fuses have been checked and they are working?

Fuse is usually the same for both these accessories on many cars. Check that first. If the cigarette lighter shorts out or the push in part is bad it can cause this fuse to blow and keep both from working. I see that I neglected to notice you had already check the fuses. That is odd as normally the fuse will blow on that when they both go out. If you are positive that the fuses are good simply trace the wire from the back of the fuse box until you find where it loses power. Most likely near the cig lighter I would bet. :-)

Everytime I plug in the cigarette lighter the fuse blow, this is on both lighters. 2003 Chevy S-10, 6 cyclinder 4.3L engine.

First off, try another lighter, or whatever you are plugging into it. It has a dead short, and replacing the fuse won’t help that. Trying to put in a higher fuse can cause wiring fires.
Both receptacles are powered by the accessory power fuse in the instrument panel fuse box-25 amp.
