BodyTalk, Very Powerful Healing.

BodyTalk – Amazing Healing FAQ

I’ve never heard of BodyTalk. What is it?

BodyTalk is a fairly new form of energy medicine that acknowledges the innate wisdom within the body-mind complex. BodyTalk also acknowledges the body’s ability to heal itself, given the right tools. By creating a communication system of neuromuscular biofeedback, in which a series of “yes/no” questions are asked, the practitioner can call attention to areas of the body where communication has broken down and repair that communication by tapping on the head and on the heart.

How long has BodyTalk been around? Who invented it?

BodyTalk was created around 1997, so it’s been growing for the last 10 years or so. It was first discovered by a man named John Veltheim, who was a doctor of chiropractic and Chinese Medicine from Australia. After surviving from a bad virus when someone tapped on his head, Dr. Veltheim emigrated to the United States and developed the BodyTalk system along with input from various professionals. He now lives in Florida and teaches BodyTalk internationally.

Why do you tap on the head and heart?

Tapping on the head calls the brain’s attention to a specific part of the body. In essence, we’re saying, “Brain, please pay attention to this, and re-establish the communication between this part and that part.”

When we tap on the sternum, the bone in the center of the chest area, we’re asking the heart complex to store the change we just made when we tapped on the head.

So we’re just connecting one thing to another?

Basically. Sometimes we connect more than one thing, and the order is always important. Sometimes the body specifies a certain combination or order of things, like a mathematical formula. For instance, similar to the mathematical formula 3 + (4+7)/237, in which we do the parenthetical formula first, the body might come up with a formula such as Lungs linked to (Left Leg linked to Right Leg) defined by the emotion of anger.

What are the side effects?

Although there are no side effects, some people experience a lack of energy, so it’s a good idea to give yourself space to rest after a BodyTalk session, if you need it.

How will I feel afterwards?

That depends on you, and on what we do in a session. Some people feel much energized by a BodyTalk session. Some people feel really tired afterwards. Some people don’t feel anything.

It usually takes about a week for the treatment to unfold, so if you don’t feel anything immediately after the treatment, give yourself a little time.

The most important thing to know is that  BodyTalk can profoundly improve your health in a few short sessions. And it can do this in a completely non-invasive, safe way without drugs or machines.

I certainly understand why cigarette smoking is taboo, even beyond its health hazards. But given that marijuana smoking is much more dangerous than cigarette smoking (smoking one joint is equivalent to smoking five cigarettes, in the last report I read), why is it considered fashionable and cool?

Cigarette smoking was only considered cool before they knew what horrible effects it had. As for pot, it is NOWHERE near as harmful as cigarettes for you. Cigarette related illness causes tens of thousands of deaths a year, while marijuana causes almost none. Anyone who thinks that you can’t live while smoking pot is a narrow minded idiot, unable to admit that marijuana should be legalized, just like those idiots that run this country. If you don’t believe me, check this out http://norml.com/index.cfm?Group_ID=3418. There are no cases of marijuana overdoses EVER, while thousands die from alcohol poisoning and drunken driving every year. I maintain a 3.8 GPA and am working towards a Masters in education, so don’t say that it "rots your brain." Marijuana should be legalized, and tobacco should be banned. Every country that has decriminalized marijuana has lower usage rates among its people than the US and the tens of millions of dollars that we spend on the "drug war" could be used to enhancing education and helping the homeless. Our whole country is screwed up and I feel bad for those of you who don’t see that.

I know both of them are really harmful to our lugs and brain. One side smoking make you feel tired after you take it which can cause less efficiency while working and also makes you cough after a long time if not quit. On the other hand, smokess tobacco can cause lung cancer, gum cancer but at least it won’t hamper your efficiency of working. This the infomation I have and I want to know more so need your help. Which one do you think is more dangerous and defective for health.

This is a really tough question, which do you prefer: tongue, cheek, mouth and/or esophageal cancer or lung cancer? Hmmm…sounds like you should just chew gum, buddy!!

Neither is a "good" idea and neither is a correct choice. Smokeless tobacco does hamper your work efficiency, you have to carry a cup around to spit in all the time. I just think you need to consult your doctor about help with tobacco use cessation. Your health is more important than a choice like this.

Consider quitting altogether-I guarantee you’ll feel better ;-) God bless!

President Obama just signed a bill to increase cigarette tax to fund child health care, the first step towards universal health care.

Is this fair to those smokers who do not have children, never plan to have them? And why should smokers shoulder the entire burden?
If somebody can’t afford health care for their kids, STOP HAVING KIDS!
agree? disagree? why?

The bill is stupid.

There is no way the current number of smokers in the country could fund this bill. And the more they raise cigarette taxes, the more smokers will give up their habit. So how does that make sense to anyone with a brain?

Does that mean Obama wants people to START smoking in order to fund it? Or is it… as is more likely the case… his way to slip the bill in, because after all who doesn’t want to slam cigarette smokers more. But once the bill is passed and obviously not getting the funds it needs, then they can start taxing the rest of us even more. Because have you EVER known the government to stop funding their pet causes once they get a bill passed? No, they just raise taxes.

what if you roll a paper in the shape of a cigarette and smoke it without tobacco? how much harm is reduced than if you were smoking a cigarette.
would i have some immediate symptoms? because immediate symptoms are not observed when you smoke a cigarette and the smoke of a cigarette contains the smoke from the paper too. so the cigarette should be more harmful than the paper.

A. It is obvious that you are not a smoker. It is just some perversion!
B. Tobacco is smoked without paper and not vice-versa.
C. Nicotine in tobacco is the culprit and not the tobacco by itself. But if nicotine is extracted and mere tobacco is smoked it is like drinking water in beer mug!
D. Apart from nicotine the manufacturers add certain fumes of chemicals in their brands (like arsenic etc and flavours) that will satisfy a distinctive taste buds by stimulating certain nurons in the brain. That results in brand-loyalty because the brain becomes addicted to those brands rather than mere tobacco in any other cigarette.
E. If you want to stop smoking, do not straight away give up but he change the brand for which you are addicted. Never smoke that brand and try other cigarettes till you eventually hate and give up! I did it 14 ys back as an addicted habbitual smoker.
