When ever I play basketball Im out of breath really quick. If Im not smoking cigarettes and only smoking an e-cig will my ability to run for long periods of time increase???

I have a friend with asthma and COPD, who bought the Ecig. There are several kinds and she got the one without nicotine, but has had to wear the nicotine patches too. She says she’s already feelng better and thinks she’s really going to love it. They have them in our area now, but the dadgum starter kit is $69 plus tax…I would hate to pay that much and it not work dontcha know? She said they make them in nicotine free, regular, menthol, and low. You get a battery and 5 cartridges to start with. She said she was told it’s the tar and other chemicals in cigs that do the harm, not the nicotine?

She said she loves it because you can smoke it in places where smoking has been banned, there isn’t any smoke and no smell. She said there’s an atomizer that comes with it if you want the visual effects of smoke.

There are taxes on cigs in all states. But some have a "USER" tax. I.E. If you live in IL but go to IN to buy cuz they’re cheaper. You have to pay an additional tax to use the cigs in IL. Lots of people in IL getting hit with big taxes now on this cuz they bought on the internet and shipped to IL. Wondering if all states have this tax?

The USE tax has NOTHING to do with cigarettes. EVERY state with a sales tax has an equivalent use tax that applies to ALL items purchased out of state. It is just enforced more actively for cigarettes.

I don’t smoke, but in the office we started talking about the different between light and regular cigarettes. From what I can find online, the only difference is small holes in the filter of light cigs that "trick" a machine into thinking it’s inhaling less bad stuff because the machine only smokes from the very end of the cigarette, and some smoke escapes from these holes. Since humans put their whole mouths on the filter, they cover these holes, meaning there’s basically no difference with regular cigarettes after all. So why then do they feel different when you smoke them? Thanks to anyone who can settle this office debate!

No, there’s more tobacco in regular cigs and different ingredients which give them a hotter and thicker taste.

A single pack of cigarettes is 20 cigs in a pack, and a multi-pack is 10 single packs. What I mean is, if i go to buy a single-pack and a multi-pack at the store, will the tax on both of them be the same? I know the tax on single-packs is $0.62, but what about multi-packs?

There is no quanity discount. The tax is per cigarette, or more properly, per 1,000. Think how much you could save and how much longer you will live if you give up the habit.

I’ve been smoking cigarettes when drinking for the past year. I will have from one cig to waking up and having no cigs left. I will occasionally smoke a cig when sober to relieve stress or to be social. Whats the best way to limit yourself from any cigarettes when you are drinking? Lately I’ve been trying to not smoke at all when drinking, but have been getting cravings. No haters please. Thank you in advance.

I am trying to quit smoking too and I found out everytime I have a drink I NEED a cigg. So I am giving up drinking till I can give up smoking.

Call the company and tell them the last carton of cigs you bought was unsatisfactory and they were stale. They will then send you a coupon for a free carton or pack. I don’t smoke….but my father does….he uses this trick quite a bit. You can also get on their mailing list for future coupons.
