Raising the tax on cigarettes has always been an option. But the higher you raise the tax the less
people smoke ( other than Barrack Obama). Thus revenues go down. In Canada they have no
anti Smoking program because that would be a bigger strain on their health care system.
You see you wait months for tests and operations..so you die off before you can cost society.
Until teachers are willing to be judged on performance we are just throwing money against the tides.
Teachers have IRON CLAD pension plans.
Good for them.. All we need are more saps like us to pay for them and other state and federal workers.

I agree with all the smoking bans nation wide, but I feel that it is unfair for smokers to have the burden of all the additional taxes on cigarettes. I think also in order to get the health in this country in order they should start taxing junk foods, including fast foods!

I don’t think many people die from second-hand hamburgers. I have never seen someone intoxicated and driving froma milk shake.

I was just wondering if it was the additives that cigarette companies put in the tobacco that made it addictive and bad for your health or if the tobacco plant naturally made these chemicals.

Its the chemicals that they add that really makes them bad. As with premium cigars and pipe tobacco that’s natural tobacco and its better for you.

Which one effects your health more? What about filtered mini cigars vs filtered cigarettes? If they are similar in size, how do their contents compare?

Cigars usually aren’t filtered, and they are completely made up of tobacco leaves, outside and inside.

I know both of them are really harmful to our lugs and brain. One side smoking make you feel tired after you take it which can cause less efficiency while working and also makes you cough after a long time if not quit. On the other hand, smokess tobacco can cause lung cancer, gum cancer but at least it won’t hamper your efficiency of working. This the infomation I have and I want to know more so need your help. Which one do you think is more dangerous and defective for health.

This is a really tough question, which do you prefer: tongue, cheek, mouth and/or esophageal cancer or lung cancer? Hmmm…sounds like you should just chew gum, buddy!!

Neither is a "good" idea and neither is a correct choice. Smokeless tobacco does hamper your work efficiency, you have to carry a cup around to spit in all the time. I just think you need to consult your doctor about help with tobacco use cessation. Your health is more important than a choice like this.

Consider quitting altogether-I guarantee you’ll feel better God bless!

This family member once bought squash instead of cucumbers for someone.

I roll my cigarettes with pipe tobacco because it’s not heavily taxed like cigarette tobacco. To me it tastes exactly the same as cigarette tobacco and I’m pretty sure it’s no better or worse for your health. As long as you’re rolling with filtered tubes you won’t get that cigar taste and it’s considerably cheaper than cigarette tobacco, but to each is his own and just go with whatever type has the taste/flavor you’re looking for in a cigarette.

When you are smoking a cigarette and your bf or husband starts compaining or naggin how do you shut him up….what I found works best is to grab his crouch…he stops right away and thinks about it….what is your tactic…or secret weapon, so to speak

That’s just wrong. You’re very rude. He complains because smoking is bad, not only for him as 2nd hand smoke, but for you also. As I am sure you know.

You should be considerate of other people. Don’t smoke around him. You seem to not care much about him or his health. If you did, you wouldn’t smoke near him and you would stop grabbing his balls to get him to shut up. You’re very disrespectful. He should leave you, find someone who cares about him. You sure don’t.
