I am a 40 year old female cigarette smoker, I smoke over 2 packs a day of Newport 100’s. Is it true that if I switch to light 100’s that I will smoke more? I have been a smoker since I was 15.

Just because you want to kill yourself doesn’t mean everyone else wants to die. Smoking is stupid. Try quitting.

Like the ones about if you smoke you might beat your wife is stupid…I smoke and its annoying to hear "you better quit" all the time from someone who has never picked up a cigarette, much less smoked one.

It gets better, it’s your tax money that’s paying for them.

The UK’s most complained about advert in 2007 was an anti-smoker (whoops, sorry that should be anti-smoking) advert that was paid for out of the NHS budget.

To give you some idea of the scale of the government anti-smoker drive in the UK, their costs were £17.34 million in 2003-4, £24 million in 2004-5 and £22.7 million in 2005-6 (I can’t find figures for any later than that, but the quantity seemed to increase).
Compare that with the cost of the children’s hospital that’s just been built near me (£30 million, of which they had to fund-raise half themselves).

I have a used 2000 Infinit G20 with only 1 cigarette lighter socket. Every adapter I have plugged in (for ipod, cell phone chargers etc) has never worked in this car. I have tried with the car on and off. With the car in drive and with the car in park. I assume that shouldn’t matter, but I’ve tried everything like that just to be sure.
Is this an electrical problem with the car? Is there some obvious solution that I’m too stupid to notice? I don’t trust myself to do any of my own maintenance on this car, so if this something that does need to be checked out, what kind of place (dealer, mechanic, chain auto store) do you recommend? Thanks!!!

The socket may be burnt up or the fuse blown.Get a meter and check for 12 volt and ground,replace if necessory.
