Besides cleaner air for us non-smokers ?

I think it gives a heads-up warning to lower and middle-class people who can barely afford cigarettes now. Maybe they will understand that cigarettes are too costly and spend their money on something beneficial. Though, their is some people out their who’d go to great lengths to obtain cigarettes and probably skip payments (now thats only of those who smoke many packs a day resulting in a large sum of their pay checks yearly),
Nothing. You tax higher, more people quit smoking. Yet the government is addicted to the hundreds of millions of tax dollars they get from smokers. Pretty soon there are no smokers, but the government needs to get that money so they will look for something else to tax to death. Maybe something you enjoy this time.
